RULES
1. SWISH TOURNAMENT MANAGEMENT APP.
Players are responsible for entering all game scores, including playoffs and medal matches, into the Swish App.
2. INJURIES
Doubles matches – Once tournament begins, if any player is injured and cannot play or continue in a game, that game must be forfeited. NO PLAYERS MAY BE SUBSTITUTED.
Dreambreaker – If any player is injured and cannot play or continue, that player will forfeit only her turn and, therefore, her individual points in the Dreambreaker. The other players who are able to continue will have their points counted towards the game total.
3. ID CARDS
Tournament Director and staff will verify IDs and/or birthdates ONLY upon request from opponents’ team captain. If your team believes that any opposing player is not officially a rostered player or is playing in an incorrect age division, please request a confirmation through the Tournament Director.
4. MINIMUM GAMES
Each player guaranteed 6 games minimum.
5. DUPR DIVISIONS
All cumulative DUPR scores will determine which bracket a team will be entered in at time of Registration. This means that a team could have a slightly higher DUPR total by the time the tournament is held. However, all DUPR scores may be evaluated after close of registration to ensure the most even brackets possible.

FORMAT
4 Ladies per team, divisions based on total combined DUPR scores. (Ex. – For the DUPR 14 division, the total of all 4 team members’ DUPR scores cannot exceed 14.90.)

Games
All games will played using Rally Scoring.
All bracket games will be played win-by-one, winning point does NOT need to be scored on your serve (i.e. no freeze)
All playoff and medal games will be played win-by-two, winning point DOES need to scored on your serve.
Matches
Each match consists of 2 sets of 2 doubles games.
First Set Example:
Game 1 will feature Team A, pair #1 (A1) vs Team B Pair #1 (B1)
Game 2 will feature A2 vs B2.
After the first set, teams may mix their pairings however they see fit for the second set.
NOTE:
ALL FOUR PLAYERS ON A TEAM MUST PLAY IN EACH SET.
ALL TEAMS MUST PLAY ALL FOUR GAMES.
If tied 2-2 at the end of the 2nd set, teams will move on to the Dreambreaker (tiebreaker).
The Dreambreaker will consist of one singles match played by all the members of each team. Each player will take turns playing 4 singles points. After each group of 4 points, 2 new players will take the court.
This will repeat until a team reaches 21 points
4 TEAM BRACKET FORMAT – 5 total matches for each team
Each 4 member team plays 3 rounds of 1 match each, playing every other team once.
ALL teams make semi finals. 1st seed plays 4th seed. 2nd seed plays 3rd seed.
Winners move to Gold medal match, Losers move on to Bronze medal match.
5 TEAM BRACKET FORMAT – 4-5 total matches for each team
Each 4 member team plays 4 rounds of 1 match each, playing every other team once.
At the end of bracket play, top 2 teams move on to a Gold Medal match.
Teams 3 & 4 move on to a Bronze Medal match
6 TEAM BRACKET FORMAT – 3-5 matches per team.
Teams will be divided into 2 pools of 3. Teams will be seeded according to highest cumulative DUPR.
Pool A will consist of all the even number seeds, Pool B will consist of all the odd number seeds.
Within each pool, each 4 member team plays 3 rounds of 1 match each.
Each team ONLY plays every other team in the opposite pool once in bracket rounds.
Example: Pool A, Seed 1 will play Pool B, Seeds 2, 4, and 6.
First Tie breaker will be determined by least points against.- least points allowed out of the 3 matches.
Top two teams from each pool make semi finals. 1st seed plays 4th seed. 2nd seed plays 3rd seed.
Winners move to Gold medal match, Losers move on to Bronze medal match.
7 TEAM BRACKET FORMAT
We will not have any 7 team brackets. Seventh team entered will be refunded if an 8th team cannot be secured.
8 TEAM BRACKET FORMAT – (Ideal bracket size. Brackets will be capped at 8) – 3-5 matches per team.
Teams will be divided into 2 pools of 4. Teams will be seeded according to highest cumulative DUPR.
Pool A will consist of all the even number seeds, Pool B will consist of all the odd number seeds.
Within each pool, each 4 member team plays 3 matches. Each team plays every other team once.
Top two teams from each pool make semi finals. 1st seed plays 4th seed. 2nd seed plays 3rd seed.
Winners move to Gold medal match, Losers move on to Bronze medal match.
Medals to 4th place, prizes and awards TBD!
